Tim is a lifetime native of Alabama, having spent his childhood in Northwest Alabama. After studying at the University of Alabama, he moved to Birmingham where he has made his home since 1993. He has been active in vocal, piano, & organ performance & performance for many years. Tim has written, directed, & performed in over twenty musical dinner theatres. He has judged numerous preliminaries in several states in the Miss America Organization. He is executive director of the Miss Center Point pageant, which was awarded “Best New Preliminary” at the 2006 Miss Alabama Pageant and “Best Script” in 2007. Early in 2007, he was named executive director for another preliminary, the Miss Hoover Pageant, which was awarded “Most Cash Scholarships Awarded” in 2008 and “Best Script” in 2009. Tim is currently General Manager for the Center Point Area Chamber of Commerce. In April 2007, he was awarded the “Live the Dream” medal of honor from the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce, a distinction also shared by Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks and Condoleezza Rice.
